Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs receives Ambassador of Bangladesh to Myanmar (13-6-2024)

U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received H.E. Dr. Md. Monwar Hossain, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at 1130 hrs on 13 June 2024 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
 
During the call, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further consolidation of friendship and expansion of multi-sectoral cooperation between the two countries, continued collaboration to maintain peace and stability in the border area as well as promotion of people-to-people exchanges between Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Tharaka Balasuriya, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka at 1330 hrs on 11 June 2024 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
 
During the call, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing friendly bilateral relations, expansion of the mutually beneficial cooperation including trade and investment, agriculture and education sectors between the two countries, as well as continued cooperation in rendering consular assistance for Sri Lankan nationals in Myanmar.

At the meeting, both sides candidly exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing friendly relations and bilateral cooperation in various sectors between Myanmar and Malaysia, as well as closer collaboration at both regional and multilateral fora.

During the call, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs extended congratulations to the Ambassador for the latter’s appointment as Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Myanmar. They cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further advancement of the existing friendly bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and continued cooperation in rendering consular assistance for Sri Lankan nationals in Myanmar.

Mr. Mutaz Abdullah Abduljaleel Mohamed Al Faheem, Ambassador-designate of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at 1000 hrs, on 10 June 2024, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
 
During the call, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs congratulated the UAE Ambassador for his appointment as the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. They cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the strengthening of the existing bilateral relations between Myanmar and UAE, mutually beneficial cooperation including trade and investment sectors, and enhancement of collaboration in the regional and international arenas.

During the courtesy call, both sides cordially exchanged views on the further advancement of the existing friendly relations and bilateral cooperation, and also discussed the expanding of multi-faceted cooperation in all spheres of common interest between the two countries as well as closer collaboration at both regional and multilateral arenas.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed the matters pertaining to the further consolidation of the existing Pauk Phaw relations and implementation of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, to cooperate in eradicating the online scam rings, the maintenance of peace and stability along the Myanmar-China border area, China’s continuous constructive support towards Myanmar’s economic development endeavor as well as further enhancement of mutually beneficial cooperation both at regional and international arena.
