U Tin Maung Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, who is currently in Bangkok, Thailand, to attend the Informal ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, separately met with Ms. Maria Theresa Parreno Lazaro, Special Envoy of the ASEAN Chair on Myanmar and Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines at 1100hrs, and Dato Seri Setia Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Minister of Foreign Affairs II of Brunei Darussalam at 1300 hrs on 12 July 2026.
During these meetings, they discussed matters regarding the enhancement of bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as constructive cooperation for the restoration of Myanmar’s full and equal participation in ASEAN.
