Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs receives the Regional Humanitarian Advisor of UNFPA from Asia and the Pacific Regional Office (7-11-2025,Nay Pyi Taw)

Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs U Hau Khan Sum, received Ms. Tomoko Kurokawa, the Regional Humanitarian Advisor of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) from Asia and the Pacific Regional Office in Bangkok, Thailand at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw at 10:00 hrs on 7 November 2025.
 
During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters pertaining to the provision of UNFPA’s humanitarian assistance to the needy people, particularly to those affected by the Mandalay earthquake and UNFPA’s activities in Myanmar.
 
Also present at the meeting were the senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Deputy Representative of the UNFPA to Myanmar.
